Program Overview
The Kaizen Event Methodology is one of the most powerful process improvement tools to achieving rapid results (usually in weeks). The purpose of this course is to prepare participants for an actual Kaizen event in their own organizations. This course will explain the purpose of a Kaizen event and give an overview of Lean concepts so that participants are prepared for action in an workshop. Click here view and print the brochure.
Upon completion of this course, participant will:
- Understand the Kaizen event methodology and be prepared and ready to contribute to a real Kaizen event
- Understand the implementation flow needed to successfully improve a process utilizing the Kaizen methodology
- Be familiar with some of the tools that will be used at a Kaizen event.
- Know their role and what to expect during the event.
- •Recognize the importance and purpose of having sustaining actions so that performance is maintained and even continues to improve.
Target Audience
This course is recommend for any person who has been selected to participate in a Kaizen workshop event or is participating in a Kaizen event in the near future. New Kaizen event leaders will also find this course beneficial to take prior to leading an event for the first time. Additional training is recommended for new Kaizen leaders to ensure success.
