This course will explain the purpose of a Kaizen event and give an overview of Lean concepts so that participants are prepared for action in an workshop.

This course applies basic statistical tools to quantify and understand variation. It is a great refresher or introduction to statistics before taking a Six Sigma Green Belt or other course requiring statistical knowledge.

The course teaches you how to design experiments for assessing a measurement system, gather the data, and calculate metrics that can be used to decide if the measurement system can be used as it exists or if it needs to be improved.

Using engineering, transactional, and supply chain examples you’ll learn how to use statistical control charts and capability indices to determine if your process is performing acceptably and to focus improvement efforts, should they be needed.
